Questions -- Special "Who's a Criminal?" Edition
(Why aren't you reading this at the new website?)

---
--When a prosecutor makes the worst possible mistake in open court, shouldn't the judge fine the prosecutor personally and not the district attorney's office (which merely translates into "fining taxpayers")? (Via Fark.)

--Should all minors be exempt from any and all criminal prosecutions?

--How about teachers and principals who act like minors by staging a cruel prank, involving a fake gunman, on their unsuspecting students? Should such educators be exempt from prosecution?

--Or how about cops who act like minors by "testing" (i.e., for potential prostitution) exotic dancers in a strip club -- up to and including a fourth lap dance? At what point are the police, as one attorney put it, "partying on the public dollar"? (Via Fark.)

--Or how about cops who lie to a suspect in order to coax him into licking an envelope, thereby obtaining a sample of his DNA? (Via How Appealing.)

--Finally, should welfare applicants be treated like criminals, complete with a controversial new lie detector test? (Via Wired.)
