For reasons that I will leave to your imagination, I have been Netflixing episodes of the old 1970s sitcom, Maude, starring Bea Arthur.

The following clip struck me as remarkably relevant even after 35 years (forty if you include the flashback factor). With one minor tweak of political parties, it could easily be a sketch about the previous and current campaigns, complete with an unpopular war, universal health care, an arguably anti-gay remark, dirty tricks, presidential secrets, and even "Douche versus Turd."
