Friday Diamondblogging: "Haute Cuisine" or "Hate Cuisine"?
---
Here's an image you'll rarely see:

As background, when I first got Diamond I naively followed the instructions on the dog food bags, which generally suggested three cups of food for a dog her size. She promptly swelled from 45 pounds to 52 pounds. Oops.
In a sense that's impressive for a dog that was left to starve to death. Impressive, but not healthy. So I turned down the volume to two cups (yes, yes, plus table scraps). And she's been at or near her target weight ever since.
Bottom line, Diamond is, like most dogs, always hungry.
Which implies that this food must really suck if she doesn't dive right into it like she usually does.
Of course, after one day of "attitude," she decided that this brand was good enough after all.
Best dog in the world.
Are your pets finicky about food?
