Sundays are always a good time to clean out the aggregator:

--That pinnacle of shrewd Galbraithian corporate manipulation, GoldenPalace.com, has paid $9,600 for an x-ray that appears to contain the head of an alien. One presumes that they will display it right next to their Virgin Mary grilled cheese sandwich ($28,000) and classic Popemobile ($244,000). I think I hear the GoldenPalace.com monkey ($700,000) shrieking in the distance. (Via Fark.)

--Speaking of shrieking animals, the barbarians who run Burma -- the most corrupt government on Earth -- are in a pickle because they are persecuting a pro-democracy activist, even more than they normally do, by denying her medical care. But Burma has no oil, so we of course don't care. I'm surprised the Burmese government hasn't tried to catch a terrorist, in which case we'd probably offer them a port or two.

--Speaking of terrorizing, those who sexually terrorize children in Oklahoma now face the death penalty under a new law signed by Governor Brad Henry. Oklahoma is only the fifth state to allow capital punishment for child molesters. As I blogged previously, such laws are most likely unconstitutional.
