A Stitch in Haste

A Stitch in Time Saves Nine...But Haste Makes Waste

A collection of real-world libertarian, individualist and laissez-faire rants on law, economics, politics, culture and other current events
by an average, everyday lawyer & investment banker and part-time pop scholar.

How Many Have You Read?
(Why aren't you reading this at the new website?)

---
How embarrassing: I've only read nine of Time Magazine's Top 100 English Language Novels (since 1923). My strong preference for non-fiction clearly has an opportunity cost.

Even more embarrassing: neither The Fountainhead nor Atlas Shrugged made the list.

Well, after all, it was Time Magazine.

For Discussion: What novels would you add to the list?

Here are the nine I've read:

Animal Farm
The Catcher in the Rye
The Great Gatsby
The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe
Lord of the Flies
The Lord of the Rings
1984
Slaughterhouse-Five
To Kill a Mockingbird

(No comment on how many of those were required reading in school.)
