For those who were wondering about Diamond's new kennel doggy hotel, she seems to have taken it very well. The staff said she even walked with other dogs. I was very happy to hear that — she's come a long way from literally being scared of her own reflection.

No time for new pictures this week. Here's one from the archives, one of my favorites:



She's actually smiling!

That was a temporary dog run (and tree nursery) while the city did work on the FDR Drive, which runs along the East River in Manhattan. The old dog run reopened, which is actually too bad; the temp run was better. Oh well.

Best dog in the world.

A reminder that the ASPCA is seeking donations to help rescue trapped and abandoned pets in areas affected by Hurricane Katrina.
