WILLisms has a good roundup of the Great Trackback Debate (to which, of course, I am trackbacking).
As a trackback whore myself, let me state for the record and for all time:
As God is my witness, I swear I will never disable trackbacks...
Oh wait, I’m an atheist.
I swear, by my blog and my love of it, that I will never disable trackbacks.
(Note, however, that I do invoke the generally accepted etiquette rule that, to trackback on my blog, you must actually reference me in the blogpost from which you are pinging.)
FUN FACT: Did you know that PowerBlogs automatically sends trackback pings whenever you publish a post? Yet another reason to dump Blogger (but if you don’t, then HaloScan is your idiot-proof source for very easy comment and trackback functionality).
